Mall of America in Bloomington, MN has jumped on the candy-craze train!

Candytopia has made its debut in Minnesota as of March and for a limited time only! My sister and I went opening day and was the first group of visitors to frolic through this real-life candyland. My jaw was dragging on the floor the entire time we spent exploring and “eating” our way through each of the rooms. On average, people will spend about 45 minutes going through Candytopia entirely, but we spent three hours in this delicious dreamland fantasy. Two of those hours were spent in the giant Marshamallow pit alone!

While there on opening day, I had the honor of meeting the Candy Queen herself, Jackie Sorkin. She is the sweets-loving genius who founded and co-created the Candytopia franchise and wonderland! She was so energetic and proud to showcase her ideas and work while walking through Candytopia with my sister and I, and she loved getting to meet up with fellow California girls while in Minnesota.

The staff are absolutely fantastic and make your Candytopia experience even more magical! And don’t be shy to ask them to take pictures for you, they are so sweet. Also take advantage of the interactive app that you can take 3D pictures with in the different rooms.

It’s safe to say, I’ll be frolicking through Candytopia as much as I can while it sticks around here at MOA!
