As you may have known, I participated in the Miss Minnesota state pageant for National American Miss back in August and had qualified to compete at Nationals in Florida this last November. Read on for my experience at Nationals in Orlando!

This week was jam-packed of events, competitions and rehearsals; but it was the most amazing week! Our group of ladies competing for the All-American title was the best group of ladies I’ve ever been blessed to meet. It was an honor to be competing among them all! Our group was so diverse and the lengthy list of accomplishments and goals we had was incredible.
The week was full of laughs and fun with everything from the required competitions to the optional competitions and to the sponsored parties and themed rehearsals we had!
I met some amazing new friends from all over the world and am so excited to visit them when I travel!
Each of our rehearsals and events had a theme, so getting to dress up and see everyone’s creativity was a fashion show every day!
My Mum and brother came with me to Florida for the week and during our downtime we got to venture out and explore. We visited Universal Citywalk, shopped at all the Ross’, tried Jollibees for the first time, and stopped at every single Bucee’s from Tennessee to Florida. Bucee’s is literally my favorite place, if you haven’t been it’s a must try experience in life. And I stand by that!
The required competitions for Nationals were Community Service, Formal Wear, Interview, and Personal Introduction. I also competed in the optional Talent competition; in which I demonstrated a Karate Kata that I competed with at the State Pageant.
The Talent optional competition was also judged on an international level, so I got to compete against others from around the world! Such a great experience!!

It was an honor to represent Minnesota as Miss Oak Grove for the National All-American Miss title with NAM!
Excited for the year ahead for my pageant career!!
