🎶know I love you babe, in every kind of way🎶
Mr. Styles took up residency at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California for 15 days and I got to rock out at the second show at this venue!!
The Forum is one of my favorite concert venues because it’s so dang pretty! I love coming to shows here! Look at me… speaking like I frequent this venue, LOL! I’ve only ever been here one other time and it was for Harry’s One Night Only for the release of Fine Line in 2019. Easily one of the best nights of my life so far!!! So I was super excited to be returning to the Forum for another Harry party at Harry’s House!
If you’ve never been to a Harry show, you’re missing out! He’s not only one of the greatest entertainers I’ve seen live, but the overall atmosphere of his shows are so beautiful. They’re full of joy and love and acceptance. You can be unapologetically yourself and it’s one of the greatest feelings ever! Also, the outfit line-ups are spectacular!! It’s like attending two shows for one!
I was so excited that I was able to go to Harry’s House this year and loved getting to share my evening with my beautiful momma, sissy, and one of my besties!!
It was such an honor to share a first-time Harry concert with my Momma and Meg. And getting to see Harry for a second time now with my Sissy!
The venue itself was absolutely stunning, as expected! We arrived right during golden hour and the sunshine hitting the Forum made for a glowy backdrop. It felt so warm and like I was coming home after a long trip away. Very fitting for Harry’s House theme. The Forum was lit up in rainbow colored lights and buzzing with life. I love that the Forum puts song lyrics and various photo opps around the pillars of the building, so of course we stopped at every single one to take pics!
One thing that has remained consistent with attending Harry shows is the overall atmosphere the fans create in the spaces. It’s a bubble of kindness, love, acceptance and joy. And it’s comfortable and inviting; makes you never want to leave. This was the atmosphere surrounding the Forum and it was such a fun party.
The supporting act was Ben Harper and I hadn’t really heard a lot of Ben’s music, but he has some serious special! His voice was diverse and all consuming. It filled the venue to the brim and reverberated in the soul. Ben Harper’s music is brilliant and meaningful and lovely. Really something I would listen to while lounging around the house or driving down a two-way highway with no end destination in mind. It soothes the soul and invigorates the mind. Highly recommend checking Ben Harper out!
As for Harry, he blew it out of the park just like every other Harry show I’ve been to before. It was fun and colorful and free. Every single person in that venue was screaming lyrics and dancing from the start to the end of the show. And dancing their way out of the show. Seeing everyone’s smiles all night was so refreshing.
The stage layout was perfect for this size venue! The main, square-shaped stage was set in the middle of the floor with two catwalks coming out on opposite sides. There wasn’t a bad seat in the house (in Harry’s House😉)!!
One thing I really admire about Harry is his energy while performing. You can clearly tell that he’s enjoying his evening just as much as we are. He was born to share this joy with others and he’s doing it right.
Harry’s third solo album, Harry’s House, is easily my favorite album of his. It’s fun and upbeat, but also shares a more personal and intimate side of Harry’s life. Also the overall sound of the album is in likeness of a 70’s soft rock album and I am living for it! It’s classically smooth, but relatable to today’s music.
This also wouldn’t be a Harry show without mentioning his outfit of the night. His style is genuine and uniquely his. He wore a pair of light coffee-colored leather pants with a blue and red baseball t-shirt with a sparkly ice cream cone decal on the front. And some classic red vans. Simple, but flashy all the same.
My top 5 favorite songs to hear live, in no particular order, would be: As It Was, Music for a Sushi Restaurant, Little Freak, Keep Driving, and Satellite.
Honorary mention for his older songs, Adore You and Sign of the Times. Those two will always be favorites of mine to hear live.
Thank you, Harry, for partying with us all night! We felt a whole lotta love {on tour} and I can’t wait for the next Harry Party!!
Love & Kindness. Always.
