We have a family-friend who is from Germany and she lives in Jever; while we were in Germany we got to make a day trip to visit her and her daughter!
Our train trip to Jever was about three and a half hours with four different transfers, it sure was a journey!
Jever is west of Hamburg and right on the coast! It is also home to the German beer, Jever! It was such a cute, little town tucked away in the north-west corner of Germany!
The town has a beautiful town-square at the center of it with tons of dining and shops lining the streets. It also is home to a stunning pink castle that has been turned into a museum, documenting the history between the ’60s and ’80s and the history of Jever!
We spent the day strolling through the town-square and touring the pink castle museum! I have included some pictures of Jever below!
Thank you so much Anja for letting us visit and showing us around Jever!
